Product testing and sampling
TGHA relies first on documents and audit. Where a risk cannot be settled that way, TGHA may ask for a product or material to be tested in a laboratory, for example to check for ethanol or for material of porcine origin.
When we test
A doubtful ingredient that documents cannot settle, a complaint, a risk-based schedule, or a requirement of the destination market.
Who tests
Tests are carried out by laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing laboratories.
Who pays
The client pays for tests required for certification. TGHA includes expected testing costs in the quote where it can.
What happens to the result
A result that shows non-compliance is handled under the Suspension and Withdrawal Policy and the certification agreement. Results are confidential and covered by the Confidentiality Policy.
