What Halal certification means, and the shape of the process that gets you there.
What Halal certification means
"Halal" means permissible under Islamic law. For food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and other consumer products, Halal certification confirms that ingredients, processing, handling, and storage comply with Islamic dietary and lifestyle requirements — verified by an independent certification body rather than taken on trust.
How certification works
Every TGHA certification follows the same shape, whatever the product or market:

Apply
Share your product, site, and scope details so TGHA can confirm eligibility and prepare a proposal.

Review & audit
A document review and an on-site audit assess your ingredients, processes, and segregation controls.

Documentation & agreement
You provide supporting documentation, and both parties sign the certification agreement and mark-usage terms.

Decision & issuance
An independent committee reviews the evidence and, on approval, issues your Halal certificate.

Ongoing use & renewal
Once certified, you may use the TGHA mark within the granted scope, subject to surveillance audits and renewal.
